Do you know what Facebook is? It's the most famous SNS (Social Networking Site) in the world. People register for it in their real names (I guess it's a big feature on this SNS comparing with others') and have fun through communicating with their friends; uploading pictures, writing messages on what we call "wall," tweet something and post some comments (it's like Twitter) etc. I really enjoy facebooking these days.

This morning, I listened to CNN News Updates, which is a Podcast program anyway, and I learned about the Facebook milestone: Facebook Inc., said it has more than 300 million user now. It's nearly as large as U.S. population. Surprising!

(CNN) -- Facebook's user base is nearly as large as the U.S. population and, for the first time, the site has turned a profit.

That was the double-barreled announcement Tuesday from Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who thanked the site's users for helping its online community cross the 300 million threshold. There are about 307 million people living in the United States, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
